Built around the way you work.

I build AI automations and integrations: agents and chatbots that read documents and email, answer customers, draft replies and update your CRM and Google Sheets. Web apps when a sheet is not enough.

Written estimate in 24 hours. First, one small fixed-price step, so you see it working.

What I build

Four kinds of work, one habit: the sheet first.

Automations, web apps and AI steps for the work your team does every day, in the tools you already pay for. When a spreadsheet is enough, it stays a spreadsheet.

Automations and integrations

In Apps Script, n8n, Make or Zapier, to end copy and paste between Google Sheets, Gmail, forms, your CRM, NetSuite or accounting software.

Sheets · Gmail · Forms · CRM · NetSuite · Accounting

Web apps your team installs on a phone

Orders, bookings, work orders, inventory, time and invoicing, with roles and a record of who changed what.

Orders · Bookings · Inventory · Time · Invoicing

AI, where it helps

Agents on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, connected to the tools you already use. They read invoices, emails and PDFs into your sheets, sort and answer requests, draft replies and keep the CRM up to date. You decide what a person approves; AI never approves payments.

Documents to rows · Replies · Summaries · CRM

Fixes and takeovers

Scripts someone else started. I check what is worth keeping first, then fix, finish or replace it.

How it grows

Most work starts in the spreadsheet you already have.

Nothing is rebuilt for its own sake. Each step earns the next one, and the file your team knows keeps working the whole time.

  1. Step 01

    Your spreadsheet gets checks

Checks on what people type, so the data is clean before anything else is built on it.

  2. Step 02

    Then scripts

Scripts for roles, approvals and emails that never go out twice. Most work starts here, inside the sheet.

  3. Step 03

Then a web app, when the sheet is not enough

The process moves into a web app on a real database, and the sheet stays for reports. The old file keeps working until the new system takes over.

Selected work

Clients who stay.

My longest clients started with one problem and stayed for years. Some contracts have been active since 2018. Three of them, told the way each one grew.

Pallet logistics · since 2016

One shared sheet, then a dock scheduler, now a platform across 44 sites

It began as a shared Google Sheet, became an Apps Script dock scheduler, and is now a platform across 44 sites. Carriers claim a load with a PIN and book a dock slot; each approval is stamped with who and when, and every booking action stays on the record with the person who did it.

I am the only developer.

Multi-office engineering firm · since 2019

Billing in Google Sheets grew into a request-to-invoice web app

Engineers log time against a project and a billing code; overlapping entries, a missing project or a missing billing code block the submit. Every change to an invoice keeps the old value, the new value, who made it and when. The accounting system is reconciled, not re-keyed.

Built by a team. I was the architect.

Food tours · since 2019

Spreadsheets automated with Apps Script, now a phone web app for guides

Guides run each tour from a phone with live data, stop by stop; when the signal drops, their entries queue and sync later. The office review carries the reviewer's name and time. Guest emails pass three independent checks before anything is sent.

I am the only developer.

Earlier clients: services, trade, manufacturing, agriculture, media, accounting and audit.

About

Ihor Bokatov

AI Automation & Integration Developer · Google Apps Script, Web Apps

  • Kyiv, Ukraine · UTC+2
  • Fluent English
  • Full time, more than 30 hours a week

Vinsetra is the name I work under. Before software, I spent 11 years in corporate finance and audit: chief economist, finance controller, senior auditor. I passed all ACCA exams. Billing, reconciliation and approvals are where I am most careful.

I use AI every day to build and test faster, and I review every change myself. In the systems I build, you decide what a person approves; AI never approves payments.

How I work. First, one small fixed-price step, so you see it working. You own the code, the data and the accounts. After launch I can stay on for support, on terms agreed in writing.

I've retired from military service in Ukraine and I'm taking on projects again, full time.
